Home Support Worker role overview
You will be the friendly and care-focused face of Accept Care and someone who values the needs and rights of the elderly and disabled in our various metropolitan areas.
This role requires you to provide a range of quality and understanding support services in home and community environments, including respite, personal care, domestic assistance and social support. It requires an experienced home support worker with a minimum of a 6-month commitment.
You will monitor the progress of the client, and compile case records to ensure that outcomes are achieved and that the highest quality of care is provided with best practices and continuous improvement at the forefront.
It is preferred that you can provide a good availability for Accept Care shifts as your primary job. Working in collaboration with our enthusiastic and professional team, as well as working autonomously are also other key responsibilities that you can further develop.

You must be able to provide:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
- Prior experience (6 months minimum) working in aged care or disability in community or residential sectors (preferred)
- Current DCSI Screening in Aged Care, Working with Children and NDIS (Disability Services)
- Current National Police Clearance (less than 12 months old)
- Current Manual Handling, First Aid and CPR
- Valid driver’s license
- Self-registered, reliable car with insurance
- Mobile phone and tablet/PC/laptop with internet connection
- Relevant vaccinations
- Available for immediate start (preferred)
